ONTV Best of Pittsburgh 40 Years and Still Growing!
PITTSBURGH BONSAI SOCIETY
StudyWeb
The ancient art of bonsai began in China and has been refined into the form we recognize today by the imperial courts of the Japanese emperors. The care and cultivation of dwarfed trees are disciplines that can be enjoyed by anyone with an interest in developing a living work of art. To that end, the Pittsburgh Bonsai Society was founded in 1957 to foster the art of bonsai in Western Pennsylvania. The PBS was one of the first bonsai societies in the United States and has been a vital part of bonsai in America.
