REGULAR MEETING

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 21ST at 7:00 PM

PITTSBURGH GARDEN PLACE

‘Tree Trimming’

Trees are growing vigorously at this time of the year, so this is the time to be trimming. Bonsai people trim trees in June not in December. This months meeting will deal with that subject.

The meeting will be a hands-on workshop style meeting, conducted by Keith Scott. Please bring a tree in need of trimming, along with the appropriate tools to participate in the meeting.

SPRING SHOW 2000

I would like to thank everyone who had a part in the Spring Show, for their help and support. Those who were able to attend, saw a very nice showing of trees, along with two of the best demonstrations this member can recall, given by Bob Grealish & Keith Scott. Thanks go out also to Sue Neff ,of the Origami club for providing an interesting side light to the show.

A preliminary report from the Treasurer, Mike Matic, indicates that we did have a successful show monetarily, which means that we didn't lose money.

If anyone has any suggestions for next years show please contact George Herbel, as he will be forming a committee for the Spring Show 2001.
